By reducing pain, inflammation, and stiffness, Celebrex can help people perform everyday functions such as walking and bending. Don't take this medication if you have had a severe allergenic reaction to aspirin, or any medicine containing aspirin or to a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory tablet (such as Feldene, Motrin, Naprosyn, Clinoril), or to a sulfonamide antibiotic (Septra DS, Bactrim DS, Gantrisin).
